How it Works

Cards

Each LOOKLOOK card showcases an animal found in a local natural habitat (currently only in Northeast, USA) and will include icons that communicate info about each animal. The card format fits into students’ existing behavior of collecting and trading cards.

Journal

Small journals printed with templates based on the design of the cards will provide students the opportunity to do their own investigation by drawing or printing images and filling out animal information based on their own research.

Games

Designing the cards to work as a game makes learning happen naturally and will allow teachers to engage students in the classroom in a fun and productive way. The card sets will include instruction cards that show teachers and students how to play a number of different games.
